Gratitude down by the Mill River in Northampton

The collection of gratitude flags down by the Mill River in Northampton got more, colorful cloths added to it. I shared this before, because I found it so cool, and here it is again!

Big Bird After the Apocalypse

This is a broken window at an old car dealership, but it looks like a sad post-apocalyptic Big Bird to me, so I think of it as "found art".

Gratitude

Walking down by the Mill river a month or two ago, I saw this display of flags. There was a container with instructions to write something about what you are thankful for or wish for on a piece of cloth and add it to the display, but they were out of cloth, so I just read the other ones. It was peaceful and interesting. The flags were put up by some people called The Keepers, and I liked that.

On the Path

Walking down the bike path a day or two after the heavy snowstorm, I saw a couple of trees fallen across the path. Someone had carved this into one of them. I took some pictures in the late afternoon. I went back a few days later and the trees had been removed.
