Inspiration!

This is a quote by the son of my friend Kettie, placed over a photograph she took. I think it is a great reminder.

You can also see more of her photos on this blog, or on her Facebook page.

Photography by Kett Lawrence

Sometimes someone makes great images or art, but doesn't realize it enough. I've been like that in life. And part of what I am trying to do with this blog is help people realize that they are interesting and good creators.

So, here are some photos from a friend of mine, Kett Lawrence. I think she has a really good sense of composition and I enjoy her sky photos a lot. I don't know her that well, but I can tell she is also a very kind person.

She has a Facebook page you can go like here.

Sunflower

"As summer is slipping by.... I took this picture wanting to remember the bright colors of summer and the warmth that sunflowers bring, nestled in the bluest of blue skies!"

Perfect and Magical

"I took these pictures today, while it was snowing and the sun was trying to peek through the clouds. It was so beautiful! I love when it snows like that, each snow flake is so perfect and magical." [12/23/2008]

Late '40s Dodge

"I took this at my brother's in Island Pond, VT. He owns 70+ acres there. The property was once farmland. We often come across evidence of how the land was previously used - old fencing, old vehicles, etc. He built a small house in 2006. There are several walking trails now. And a fabulous waterfall."
